Meet Barbara F
Barbara F spent much of the past ten years addicted too fetanyl. While Barbara tried everything to get clean, undiagnosed medical issues made it very dificult.
She spent years working with countless specialists to get to the root of her physical ailments. Finally she found someone who told her that she had a thyroid issue. Immediately Barbara F responded to that medication.
Barbara F however had a long road not just to being clean but mental recovery. She also has uncovered an ADHD diagnosis which may explain why the Fetanyl use became so addictive for her and is now being treated for that too.
Upon meeting Imagine Equality, Barbara received over 100 hours of career and life coaching mentorship. She now is a successful EXECUTIVE at a company with enough time behind her there that we trust this process is everlasting for her.
Barbara says “it’s weird, I don’t even think about fetanyl anymore. I’ve been sober over a year now and working a real job, one that I am excelling at and good at. I’m just so happy. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and I can’t thank you enough I wouldn’t even know where to start with my gratitude for you. I owe you my life, really.”
Meet jane T
Jane T used to be a highly compensated team member at a very lucrative company. She was married and grew up in a good family. She had achieved what she was “supposed to” in life. But something was missing, she wasn’t happy.
Jane T was strong enough to get divorced and hold down a job but one day a DUI shook up her world. It made her realize how unhappy she still was in life. Her job treated her so poorly she never had time to even sleep.
She fell into alcohol addiction. It wasn’t a one time thing. She played around in low end jobs thinking that it’s what she needed, and through mentorship at Imagine Equality she realized that she’s destined for greatness.
Jane T is now more motivated than ever and is working hard and staying sober. She’s actually overcome some very dangerous thoughts about what someone who desires equality should be doing. Understanding she can come back and be an example to others is keeping her out of the alcohol ridden world she was in and into the type of role that truly makes her feel she will have a life that she’s happy in.
Jane T is an example that happiness is truly the goal, and when you surround yourself around greatness you can both stay sober and prosper. Jane T’s company has grown thanks to Jane T and they all know the sky is the limit.
Please note: our founders have made the decision to conceal our mentees’ actual names due to privacy reasons.

Meet javier z
Javier Z was homeless living in his car. He was employed but not making enough money. As a result of his pain due to circumstance he smoked weed and drank alcohol to numb himself.
While he showed up looking good to his part time job, he was hungry. He was homeless. And he was scared. He just needed a mentor, someone to be accountable to. He’d do anything for work, even work for a meal or vesting.
Well we don’t let anyone take advantage of our applicants. Javier was provided a job and while figuring out his skill set he was reassigned to a different opportunity. It took a few tries but now Javier knows that no matter what he has a job and he’s doing much better. He’s off the marijuana and alcohol and is now, thanks to the guidance and direction of Imagine Equality, is also heading back to school. College of the Desert has a new transportation system for students without cars and that has been clutch to his decision to go back and finish college.
